About
Lucius is a jewelry designer developing a portfolio centered on contemporary high jewelry concepts, with a focus on form, proportion, and material expression.
His work is informed by structured observation of the natural and built environment, particularly the movement of the Pacific Ocean, architectural geometry, and the interaction of light with precious materials. These influences are translated into considered design studies that prioritize clarity of form and refined balance.
The design process begins with hand sketching, followed by iterative refinement through technical drawing and digital development. This approach allows each concept to evolve with intention, ensuring both aesthetic coherence and structural awareness.
Lucius Design is an ongoing exploration of modern jewelry language, currently focused on building a disciplined and cohesive body of work rooted in high jewelry principles and contemporary design methodology.

PHILOSOPHY
My work is centered on clarity, proportion, and restraint. I design contemporary high jewelry inspired by nature and architecture, focusing on essential form and refined detail rather than excess.
By combining traditional French high jewelry techniques with modern digital precision, I create timeless concepts designed to endure for generations.

Ideas begin with observation and quick sketches, focusing on form, proportion, and movement.
Hand-painted gouache layers define the play of light, mapping the placement of micro-pave diamonds.
Hyper-realistic gemstone renders bring the concept to life with absolute mathematical accuracy before commission.
